Master at Arms 2008

Check-in . . .

Cadets should make every effort possible to be at NSB Kings Bay for check-in between 1200 and 1300 on Sunday. We understand that travel plans and conditions constantly change and flight arrangements may not allow for arrival in such a short time frame. With this in mind, check-ins will be allowed as late as 1600. If you find that you are not going to make check-in on time I expect a phone call as soon as you realize you will be late, not 15 minutes after we have secure.

Sea Bag Inspection . . .

Cadets should arrive with a full sea bag per the published sea bag list ready for inspection.

Grooming Standards . . .

Grooming standards area clearly defined in chapter 2 of the NSCC / NLCC Uniform Regulations Manuel. This should be self explanatory, do not show up to training outside of the prescribed standards.

Boots . . .

You will be in your boots everyday from the completion of PT to lights out with very few exceptions. Boots should be broke in prior to training to avoid injury to your feet. This is a painful lesson to learn, so make sure you have well worn boots.

Uniform of the Day. . .

The Uniform of the Day for check-in will be Dress Whites, there are no exceptions. If you are arriving on a commercial flight, you are expected to travel in civilian clothing and will be provided an opportunity to change once you arrive in Kings Bay.
